I am an Electrical Engineer by profession. I used to teach EE at a technical college. I got my BS from GIKI, Pakistan in 2000 and MS from KFUPM, Saudi Arabia in 2009. In between this time I was involved in designing SoC (system on chips) for a fabless startup in CA, USA. I also spent sometime at University of Michigan (2003-2005) at the EECS department as a graduate student.

As of 2013, I am pursuing a Doctoral degreein communication and control. I am very much interested in information, communication, control and computation/cognition/AI and the mathematical machinery that supports it.
