Sockets

The Wolfram Language includes built-in Network Programming, allowing uniform convenient access to TCP socket functionality on all platforms.

SocketConnect opens a connection to a server at the specified socket address, returning a SocketObject which represents a connected network socket.

New functions include SocketListen, SocketReadMessage, SocketListener, Sockets, SocketWaitNext, SocketWaitAll, SocketReadyQ

Sockets can be operated using functions such as WriteStringand ReadList.
