I recently encountered a strange issue while working with Wolfram Alpha (WA). Initially, I attempted to compute the integral

$$\int \frac{1}{\tan\left(\frac{1}{2}\csc^{-1}(x)\right) - \tan\left(\frac{1}{2}\sec^{-1}(x)\right)} \, dx$$

in Spanish, but WA failed to resolve it (please, see my previous question on MathSE). Strangely, when the same integral was input in English, it worked perfectly.

However, as of now, WA no longer solves this integral, even in English. This inconsistency raises a broader question: could WA be prioritizing or discriminating the time it allocates to computations based on the region or language of the query?
