I am trying to create a plot of the modulus of the eigenvalues of an associated matrix that is parameterised by sigma. When plotting a single eigenvalue using AbsArgPlot, the graph is coloured nicely according to it's argument (which is working fine as the one pictured below is red which corresponds to an argument of zero which agrees with the fact that that particular eigenvalue is real) but when I plot all the eigenvalues on the same graph they appear grey. Can anyone give me an idea as to why this might be happening ?

I have tried formatting the graph in different ways using PlotStyle etc but nothing has worked.

Note: %7 in the input represents the vector of eigenvalues.

Thanks in Advance

$\begingroup$ You did not give a full MWE. But try to add Evaluate for the case where they all show gray. $\endgroup$

  • $\begingroup$ Thank you for your comment, could you please specify what "MWE" means, I am new to Mathematica. $\endgroup$
