When I set the AxesLabel with "Times", it shows different font.

I don't know how to make them display the same. (change the font of "y" to "x_1")

Plot[{Sin[x], Cos[x]}, {x, 0, 2 \[Pi]},
 AxesLabel -> {"\!\(\*SubscriptBox[\(x\), \(1\)]\)", "y"},
 AxesStyle -> Directive[Red, 20, FontFamily -> "Times"]]

It works from @Syed and @kglr, but I found another problem if I want to show "y=10".

  • $\begingroup$ It shows what I want to get, (but is there any FontFamily match it) $\endgroup$

  • $\begingroup$ It is the "Times" font on your system. Change font to "Arial" and see the difference. $\endgroup$
