In Mathematica 12.0.0.0 (Windows) the horizontal axis origin of DiscretePlot is 0, even when the index starts >0. For example, the DiscretePlot[i,{i,10,20}] begins at i=0 (with blank space), not i=10.

In older versions (e.g., 10.4.1.0) the plot started at the lower bound (i.e., i= 10 in this example).

Is there an option that needs to be set or is this a bug?

  • $\begingroup$ You can always set explicit PlotRange, and probably PlotRangePadding (this you can borrow from initial plot by Options[plot, PlotRangePadding]). $\endgroup$ – Alx Feb 28 at 2:29
