The mathematical notation for the magnitude of a given vector is ∥x∥$\vert x \vert$, but this does not work:

\[DoubleVerticalBar] {1, 2, 3} \[DoubleVerticalBar]

Is there any way to overload the DoubleVerticalBar operator,DoubleVerticalBar symbol so my Mathematica code would look like a textbook formula?

Using standard notation for vector magnitude

\[DoubleVerticalBar] {1, 2, 3} \[DoubleVerticalBar]
