Apr 1, 2013 at 17:56 | comment | added | bill s | Because the numbers you have are floating point... this would work if the argument were rational. For example, if you had expressed mydata as {47/50, 221/100, 107/50, 187/100, 247/50, 12/25}, then N[mydata,{4,3}] would do what you want. | |
