I would hesitate to remove outliers to fit a new curve in without knowing more about the methods used and the errors involved, as the outliers may very well be 'real' information, and the hysteresis loops may be real. Hysteresis loops, whilst can be naively described as a Sigmoid function, can be more complicated than that: physics.stackexchange.com/questions/60194/… or ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/7133863
