Currently, without any further specification, your fits all start with the parameters = 1. That may be very far from optimal, and may cause the function to return unevaluated, thereby causing your difficult-to-diagnose problem. | |

The error message comes about because nlm["BestFitParameters"] is not evaluating in the fit invoked by nnlm=.... But I do not know why that is.
