If this is a JSON file, you could use Import[] with "JSON" or "RawJSON" .

Have you tried data=Import[...your-file..., "Table"] ?

I took a quick scan of all the rows and they all look the same. Fundamentally, I think I need to have Mathematica treat each line individually and convert to its own interpretation of an {x,y,z} data point. Do you know how I might be able to do this?
