Good day,

I am pretty sure I dohave made an obvious mistake. I want to plot a Taylor Polynomialpolynomial of a degree 4 around the point (0,0 0). So I have createddefined a function: f[x_,y_]:=Cos[x+y] Then created

f[x_, y_] := Cos[x + y]

Then I write a Taylor series up to 4th degree: Series[f[x, y], {x, 0, 4}, {y, 0, 4}]

Series[f[x, y], {x, 0, 4}, {y, 0, 4}]

I can plot f -the function f, but tryingwhen I try to plot series returnsI get errors. I believe it is because. when doingcomputing the series, apartalong from coefficientsthe terms I will also get a remainder, which couldcan not be plotted.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Plotting a Taylor Series of two-variable trigonometric function
