If you were to omit the semicolon ( ; ) at the end of your code expression, you would not have wrap the ListPlot expression with Print .

If you have a List , Table is not necessary to extract a portion of the List , e.g., Table[colors[[ntempc]], {ntempc, 2, 12}] === colors[[2 ;; 12]] === Rest[colors]

wasato, I formatted your code for legibility but it would be useful if you were to provide a self-contained example that people could evaluate directly. Also, you should not be using Print here apart from very specific applications.
