Is it possible to customize the Suggestions Bar? @ Szabolcs Cool. How does Mathematica know when new packlet data is available? Can Wolfram "push" it? |

Is it possible to customize the Suggestions Bar? I noticed that when you click on "Send Feedback", you can list what you'd like to see added/removed as suggestions to different output. Hopefully popular changes are updated via packlet data. I don't want to have to make all the recommendations and then purchase them in a later version. |

Possible bug in v9.0 Rest[] function @Itai A follow up: I don't understand why dataVolume works fine, but dataDate crashes? Aren't they both long lists of exact integers? Perhaps it is because the values in dataDate are nearly sequential, MMA sees this, and then uses a failing function to make suggestions? I can see why dataOpenInt is ok... just a bunch of zeros. |

Possible bug in v9.0 Rest[] function Developer`PackedArrayQ[data[[All, 1]]] gives "False", x = data[All, 1]] Rest[x] exhibits the bug, and data[[2;;, 1]] crashes as well. |

Possible bug in v9.0 Rest[] function I get exactly what you're showing. But, when I try to evaluate the lists later, the problem persists. Disabling the "Suggestions Bar" fixes the issue. Thanks |

Possible bug in v9.0 Rest[] function I've reproduced the bug in two different operating systems. It occurs 100% of the time. So I added the "bugs" tag back. |

Possible bug in v9.0 Rest[] function Wow...just saw your comment after my final edit. You (and I) are right on the money. Absolutely amazing that I get the exact same error in both Win and Linux. I'm going to see if both OSs have the same java version installed... or perhaps MMA uses their own internal java only? Thanks for your help. |
