comment PlotMarkers shadows the settings by Style
On a scale of 0 (feature) to 10 (bug), this is probably an 8. (It's not what I'd expect, but there may be some good reason for it, and it doesn't entirely surprise me.)

comment Making a better looking plot legend
This is in V9; the lines in the legend are thicker by default starting in V10.0.

comment Evaluation time is always 0.23 s
Timing requires forethought, and becomes part of the actual flow of data (and so needs to be worked around when using %, etc..) The interface option Faq is trying to use provides (ideally) and easy way to answer the question "How long did that just last calculation take?" without any additional effort or overhead. It is limited to only the most recent evaluation, but I still find it incredibly useful multiple times per day.

@Faq: What version, exactly, do you have? I suspect 10.0.0 or 10.0.1, which had the behavior you describe. It was fixed in 10.0.2 and later.

comment Is it possible to use vectorized Plot Legend?
Use the same setting for PlotStyle in both LogLogPlot and ListLogLogPlot.

comment Is it possible to use vectorized Plot Legend?
2) PlotStyle is only an option for Plot, but Graphics (which is what Show is working with) doesn't know anything about it. (Unlike PlotRange and PlotLabel, which are general graphics options.)

comment Is it possible to use vectorized Plot Legend?
1b) Plot holds its arguments, so the Map doesn't even evaluate (otherwise you'd get a list of PlotLegend -> ... and be wondering why you legend shows up wrong.)

1a) a -> b[#]& /@ c is (a -> b[#])& /@ c instead of a -> (b[#]& /@ c)
