comment How to make a dynamic nested menu?
Also in Windows, menus usually disappear when clicking outside of the menu, once a menu has started to be displayed. In your code the menu closes after the mouse gets out of the menu area. These comments are just suggestions, I know it must be hard. Thank you !

comment How to make a dynamic nested menu?
This is a very interesting code. Would it be possible to have the top element of the menu react just when pressing it down? It reacts just with a MouseOver. This is an "intuitive" behaviour for submenus, but "intuitively" I would expect the top element to react with a MouseDown.

comment Graph databases / Nosql with Mathematica
I don't think it would be possible with Mongo as it doesn't have a SQL like language. With Couchbase it seems to be possible simba.app.box.com/couchbasebeta , blog.couchbase.com/…

comment Graph databases / Nosql with Mathematica
I've switched to Couchbase recently, it's similar to MongoDB but better (for me). It's much faster on a Windows machine and there's a query language called N1QL that is an SQL adapted to documents. The same ideas as in my post above can be used for this db.

comment Backquote in string template?
Yes, it's the same idea as Kuba in TemplateApply["`a``input``a`", <|"a" -> "`", "input" -> 2|>]. I think it's the easiest and most flexible answer.

comment Backquote in string template?
I've encountered such problems by building SQL queries where backquotes are necessary sometimes.

"``Jupiter` is heavy`" as output

comment Backquote in string template?
That's clever, but it doesn't work if you need to insert an argument inside backquotes. For example ``planet` is heavy`

indeed this would be the real way to escape, but I still prefer your answer with a, it makes the template easier to understand, and this is what matters.

I think your first suggestion is the most practical.

Ok so it seems I'm not missing anything, it's more a design issue. Hopefully it will be solved at some point. I could do any ad hoc solution, this is not the problem, it's more that I wanted to be sure there isn't an elegant solution to the problem, like a simple escape of the backquote.
