comment Table with List iterator return unpacked list
@matheorem the inner/outer iterator detail by @Daniel Lichtblau can be easily verified: Table[w + ky, {w, 1., 10., 0.01}, {ky, Range[1., 10., 0.01]}] is not packed; Table[w + ky, {w, Range[1., 10., 0.01]}, {ky, 1., 10., 0.01}] is packed

Interesting. One could turn on On["Packing"] to see the warning if unpacking happens so as to manually apply ToPackedArray though.

Dynamic[counter, SaveDefinitions -> True] may save the counter; but bear in mind SaveDefinitions is considered a bit dangerous here.

I think SelectedCells refers to the cell with the input cursor, or selected via the bracket at the right side of the cell.

This will make a button that sets the label to values specified by t. maybe you can use KeyEventTranslations.tr to make a shortcut for it. t = {"a", "b", "c", "d"}; Button["cell frame", SetOptions[SelectedCells[InputNotebook[]][[1]], CellFrameLabels -> {{t[[1]], t[[2]]}, {t[[3]], t[[4]]}}]]

comment I want to plot a list of points with specified t and x[t] coordinates
ListPlot[Table[{Subscript[t, i], x[Subscript[t, i]]}, {i, 0, 2, 1}], Filling -> Axis] works. Typo (i runs through 0 to 2, not t)?

@JasonB Yes, I'm aware of that. I can programmatically do the fill all and fill diagonal function in the dialogue box, but the lines between the rows and columns are really nice for my needs and I can not reproduce that without clicking the menu item.
