I am a Physics graduate student at Unicamp (University of Campinas). I have received bachelor's and master's degree from USP (University of Sao Paulo), both on Physics.

Present research subject: sterile neutrino phenomenology.

I had experience with Matlab in my master's research project. Now, I'm using Mathematica, which is considered to be a powerful tool for particle phenomenology by my colleagues in the research group.

stackoverflow interests: Mathematica, Matlab, Maple, LateX, LyX, TikZ

comment Contour plots of a two-variable function depicting the values of its integral
I am facing this kind of problem in my codes and I've tried to state it in a very general way, so that a possible answer could be useful to others.

@Jens, do you think I should change the title to Get the coordinates from ContourPlot and RegionPlot?

Sorry, I thought that it would be wrong to open another post for a very similar question. I would like to get the coordinates associated to the region shown by a region plot. As dense as the RegionPlot output.

Yes, I meant { f[x,y] == 1, g[x,y] == 1}. But it would be more convenient to make two distinct nested lists, one for each function.

Thanks. What if ContourPlot has two or more functions as arguments (e.g., {f[x,y],{g[x,y]}})? How should we change the code above?

What's the problem with Histogram3D? Do you want a gap between the colummns?
