Parallelization and Hadoop It certainly helps. 1. For the problem we are trying to solve right this minute, the number of equations is on the order of 3000 or so in approximately 100 variables. However, I know that this can be on the order of 10^4 or 10^4 equations in 10^3 or so variables. 2 and 3.
