As I noted in bel's answer, BoundaryStyle -> None will get rid of the lines enclosing the contours.

The OP may want to set BoundaryStyle -> None if the boundary surrounding the contours is unwanted. If the surface is also not wanted and only the contours are desired, PlotStyle -> None can be added.

Methinks it would be far more efficient to use the contour integral definition of the Fox function, completely analogous to how MeijerG[] is evaluated internally. You will just need to find a (possibly piecewise) complex contour that crosses through the poles of the associated gamma ratio in the right way…

Yes, that was my point. Now you know that NMaximize[] is indeed doing something special. As for directly building the matrices and directly using LP, I would think that would be more efficient, but you will have to test to be sure.
