comment What are some useful, undocumented Mathematica functions?
For Internal`Bag, you should credit Daniel Lichtblau for that explanation, not me. As I noted in my post, that was just a quote from DL's answer which you linked to in the line above. Unrelated note: Using @username to ping people in an answer won't actually ping them. @-mentions don't work in answers.

comment Which ColorFunction should I use to get such a gradient of blue-cyan-green-yellow-orange-red?
@Guesswhoitis Don't worry, I fixed it for you :) Now people have no excuse to not make their own abominations :P

comment Select certain items from nested list
@LeonidShifrin It was just for fun, mostly. I came across an image that I really liked and just went along with it :) How long I'll keep it, I don't know, lol. I've always treated online personas as ephemeral and have fun changing things around but I can see how it might be confusing for others, especially when there are some artifacts and other bread crumbs lying around :) I can revert if you'd like me to/find it confusing.

comment Select certain items from nested list
That only works for the specific example. OP said: "My problem is that the data I would like to select are not in an consecutive order (otherwise I could use the Part function)."

comment Is there any faster implementation of DominantColors?
I wonder how much of that slowdown is due to Mathematica trying to convert the simple input into Entity["Lena", Entity["ImageData", {{Entity["Color", {Entity["Red", Quantity[...]}], ...}, ...}]] and choking on its own vomit :D

@rasher Moderators cannot change votes. You can make a dummy edit, reverse your vote and then undo the edit within the minute. (there will be a note in the history that you edited the post, but the contents will remain the same)

comment Performing analysis of data extracted from an SQL database
If out is your expression w/o TableForm, then Evaluate[Symbol /@ First@out] = Transpose@Rest@out should work. This doesn't have anything to do with SQL queries though...

comment Is Daylight Savings Time accounted for when using AbsoluteTime[]?
This is the first thing mentioned in the documentation — "AbsoluteTime[] uses whatever date and time have been set on your computer system. It performs no corrections for time zones, daylight saving time, etc. "

This should probably just be a comment...
