comment How can I use several data fields drawn from curated data at once?
"one line of code" is overrated.

comment Why is MapIndexed better than mapping over a range?
I don't think the answer is more complicated than "Why would you write foo[bar[[#]], {#}]& /@ Range@Length@bar when you can simply write MapIndexed[foo, bar]" :)

comment An elegant way to plot a numeric function that returns a list, and have each element in a different color
Using the downvalues isn't a robust solution, because it completely disregards additional caveats to the definitions. For example, plot: Clear@f;f[x_?NumericQ] /; x < 0 := -{x, x^2, Sin@x, Cos@x, ArcTan[x]} f[x_?NumericQ] := {x, x^2, Sin@x, Cos@x, ArcTan[x]}

comment Converting XMLElement objects to plain text
@Szabolcs Yes, but it should be trivial to handle. Just add a line break at the end to t in XMLElement["p",_,t_] and so on. I'll update it later when I have some time. Of course, if you want a full blown and robust parser, it'll take a hell lot more work and testing, which is beyond the scope here...

Leonid, I hope you have some time to spare to weigh in on this. With some strong backing from professional mma users on board, I'll make a push to SE to see what can be done about it.

comment Generating convex polyhedron from face planes?
@helopticor For starters, taking up JM's comment, you can change the ==0 to <0 and do RegionPlot3D[And @@ pl, {x, -2, 2}, {y, -2, 2}, {z, -2, 2}] where pl is the output of your Table[...]

comment Generating convex polyhedron from face planes?
As always, some example data is very helpful. It's probably going to take me a few minutes to come up with a simple and meaningful example to even begin to attempt possible solutions and I'm already bored by that point and move on to something else... The onus is on you, the OP, to put forth a minimal example that saves us the trouble.

@acl I've been giving sublime a try and it looks nice (it even has decent vim commands and modal editing support out of the box). Please post the fixed version so that I can give it a try. You can post here in your answer too, I suppose.

comment Dual-Grid Graph Paper With Mathematica?
@ZippyThePinhead I didn't read the article... just saw the figure. Do you want to orient the lines along some rotation θ instead? If so, then you'll have to use RotationTransform with primitives or as in J.M.'s answer.

comment How do I set the fonts for Input and Output in my stylesheet?
The earlier question did not concern output styles. The reason you can't do this easily is because Core.nb defines DefaultFormatType -> DefaultOutputFormatType for the output style and this is the StandardForm. You can set DefaultFormatType to some other *Form and change that instead, because modifying StandardForm will also change the input sytle.
