comment How can I create a rectangular graphic with curved edges?
I assumed you wanted a non-rasterized method, but yes the image one is simpler...

@Mr.Wizard agreed

comment How can I trace a functional expression's evaluation visually?
@Leonif Shifrin Note the tooltips have the evaluation in them. I like this TracePrint function, though it seems ugly and not really what I'm going for.

comment How can I trace a functional expression's evaluation visually?
This question was inspired by Bret Victor's approach (vimeo.com/36579366) to debugging code visually.

comment How can I set the view vector in a 3D scene by tracking my face's position?
Nice, but having to draw on yourself is a drawback I think.

Ok, I rephrased the question and gave example code to sketch the idea...

Right. (there should be a RandomString[] function in M- I think)

comment How to construct a treemap using non-rectangles?
I did see that demo, but the code I have above is already much better for a few reasons: it is not a hard coded example, it is a usable function that take nested data as input, it uses squarified not slice and dice...

comment How can one define an infix operator with an arbitrary unicode character?
But what exactly do these columns mean?

comment How can one define an infix operator with an arbitrary unicode character?
It should be highlighted just like the \[LeftRightArrow] in the first output image: red when used improperly, and black otherwise. Also, no the NotationPrivateinternalCharacterInformation trick only stops InfixNotation from complaining.

Exactly, so how can gone introduce a new character and tell Mathematica that it is supposed to be a binary operator?

Yes, that is much better, thanks.

Thanks @R.M. I found a good explanation of basic algorithm here: win.tue.nl/~vanwijk/stm.pdf

comment Is it possible to insert a link preceding the Wolfram link at the bottom of html documents?
Assume you have a notebook saved and currently open called MathematicaToHTMLExample.nb that you would like to convert to html.To convert it with a custom stylesheet and footer just run this code changing two things: 1. Replace "stylesheet.css" with your stylesheet saved in the in the same directory as MathematicaToHTMLExample.nb 2. Replace the string "footer" with what you want.

About a second, but If you increase the size of the grid it gets worse fast.
