Probability: proportion of 1000 random lists for x that contain the same nrs Wow, i like the short notation needed for a -in my opinion- quite hard problem! Many thanks (everybody who helped me!) |

Probability: proportion of 1000 random lists for x that contain the same nrs Its just a textbook question which im trying to solve, so im also trying to interpret it right. thats probably why the question is so unclear. what i think they ask is exactly what you describe. therefore i wanted to use the count command, and maybe i can do something with 1000 - "the number of these list without equal numbers"? but idk how to compute that either :( |

Probability: proportion of 1000 random lists for x that contain the same nrs I want to estimate for groups of x persons, the probability that at least two of them have the same birthday, and i want to repeat this process 1000 times. so im looking for the proportion of 1000 random birthday lists for x that contain the same numbers. |
