Thank you for the solution. I'm thinking should I report the bug...

comment Ticks not positioned correctly on spectrogram
@SjoerdC.deVries You are totally right, that was a typo. I just edited the question. The problem is that in original spectrogram tick are like 8000, 6000, 4000, 2000 (from top to bottom), and when I set them manually they become like 3000, 4000, 5000 (instead of 5000, 4000, 3000). This leads to incorrectly shown frequencies in second plot.

And now I understand your previous comment :) But it's not as easy as it seems...

Thank you for your answer, it helped me a lot. Just one thing is left unsolved. The way you proposed for generating ticks works great, but for some reason they are not drawn correctly to the spectrogram. If you check on your graph from top to bottom it is 50, 60, 70 instead 70, 60, 50. Reversing the ticks list does not solve the issue. And this gives wrong values of frequencies. What I understood that happens is that frame is showing ticks relative to top, while spectrogram frequencies are drawn relative to bottom. Any ideas on how to solve this?

comment Some tutorials on formatting notebook for exporting to pdf
Thank you Silvia, and now this is really useful. I don't get the Simple Program Example, but as I understand it's just way how to do upper part of answer, by code. Or is it? I mean the result is same or does this "code approach" add any new capabilities. (I'm asking this because I'm not MMA expert so it's not easy task for me to analyze this code, but if it's useful I certainly will). And once again thank you for your explanations.

Which Latex editor do you use?

Yes I know that, and that's what I do. But I think if MMA have this options adjustable life would be much easier. Not to take formula by formula and import them in your designing software (InDesign, Quarkxpress...)

then see the edits that I made in question, I translated the comments, and fixed few minor mistakes. Also when looking at your answer I noticed that I have some bugs in my code (I think I made mistakes in calculating angle). Anyway it's too late, I'll focus on that tomorrow. Once again thank you, as well all others on effort :)

yes, you solved it, I don't know how because I rushed with question and code I put was bad. But you did it. Thank you very much. And sorry for bad asked question.

I put that "complicated graphics" in edit, but I'll try to implement show, maybe that would work.

I don't think that Table[] will help me, because I have complicated graphics. But it's my fault, I did't explained it in my question, I'll edit it now.

I encountered the same problem with Alignment, but you're right Show is much more appropriate approach than Overlay is for this task, thank you for answer

Indeed it does not have to be 'Overlay', I didn't think of 'Show'
