Could be an interesting idea, thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have version 9 installed to try that with another version than 10. I tried the code using UndoOptions but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Memory is still leaking...

I applied it several times using Map and Table and the memory consumption raises in each iteration. If i would run it long enough it would certainly kill my computer (which it did already in the real program I use this line). So it never stops or returns the memory...

Thanks for your advice. I will try to do it with the workaround. Do you have an idea if it is possible to do interpolation of values in between but to avoid extrapolation?
