Version differences in Parallelize true. there was a toolkit for 6 by which i hoped i could do some of the things. It seems it is not possible. i have to work in 7 instead. thanks for the help. |

Version differences in Parallelize can you tell me how to do that. this is the first time i am trying to use parallel process. i do not know how many kernels it will take (as some other guys use it for same purpose too). |

exporting list of matrices in mathematica @Szabolcs thanks a lot. rewriting the code. the runtime was a real concern for me to generate a long list of matrices with a few properties which were time consuming. |

exporting list of matrices in mathematica @Szabolcs thanks for the reply and it worked. i have written above a simplified version of the code. actually there are a few more things which i have put under 'For' loop. nevertheless, can you please tell me why you advice using 'For' loop judiciously? |
