Colors in ExclusionsStyle The obvious question for the Floor addition is: is there a fix? (probably not an easy one, otherwise you would probably have added it) |

Colors in ExclusionsStyle For those wondering what happened to the first spikes on the 3th function: I cleaned up the functions a bit (rounded numbers and such) :-) |

Determining the week of a year from a given date ISO8601 all the way for me: I can't understand that you would start a year with a 1 day week :-). But the function doesn't work for the days before week 1; it returns zero for 2012-01-01, which should be week 52 (for some years 53). |

Why won't Mathematica Solve a set of two equations for one variable? @Artes - Yes, I saw it too. Thanks for the hint. |

Why won't Mathematica Solve a set of two equations for one variable? @J.M. - Your own fault, you should have posted as an answer :-). I never thought of using {y} as domain argument for Solve, but I like it better than nesting an Eliminate inside a Solve. Thanks a bunch! |

Why won't Mathematica Solve a set of two equations for one variable? Thanks for your answer. You might have guessed that the example wasn't my real problem :-), and eliminating y like in your Solve example is no option. It's a set of 3 equations with 7 variables in $\mathbb{C}$, so I'm not going to eliminate by hand :-). |

Why won't Mathematica Solve a set of two equations for one variable?ConditionalExpression[y==13/2, y==13/2] is not true?? |

Why won't Mathematica Solve a set of two equations for one variable? I see. Thanks for your answer. But couldn't it return a conditional expression then: ConditionalExpression[1/2, y=13/2]? Too far-fetched? Also, it knows y isn't assigned. |

Can I limit PlotRange for 1 function in a Plot? Thanks for your answer. I'm a beginner at Mathematica, and accepted Artes' answer because it's easier to understand. But thanks again. |
