How can I get a running sum for a list? I've thought of the Transpose + Take too, but I'm not sure it will be the fastest. I'll benchmark the different answers later and report back. In any case, thanks. |

How can I get a running sum for a list? Thanks. I didn't know about the Accumulate function. (which reminds me of what a fellow student of mine said: "programming is like magic. It's easy once you know the magic words.") |

Correct way to generate large data sets (i.e.forward yield curve ) accept rate could be higher though. 24% on 38 questions isn't much. Please check your older questions and see if there's not a best answer. Acceppting is showing appreciation, but also indicates to other users that the question has been answered, so they can give priority to unanswered question. And to encourage accepting it gets you +2 rep too. |

Can I redefine a list as a set of variables? I like the alias function you added. This is exactly what I want, thanks a bunch! +1 for now (I'll wait with the accept and see if there are other ideas) |

Can the banner in the Home Edition be removed? @John - Fair enough. I thought that if the option is available it would also have been tested, though I understand that the kernel is much more important than some appearance setting. But I still don't know what the purpose of the banner is. Do you know if it is for the links to learning center and demonstrations? |
