Optimization with assumptions @Matariki, thanks for your comment, but as far as I understand NMinimize[{x^m, x >= 1 && m > 0.01}, {x, m}] will minimize x^m with respect to both x and m, whereas I would like to minimize x^m with respect to x for any fixed m. |
