What are some advanced uses for Block? WOw, again an amazing answer +1 |

Custom arrow shaft Agreed, that's cool. But imagine adding a few vertices, which would requires a lot of fiddling around with Transformations to have the Arrows where they belong. It would be nicer to let Graph do this. But still, very nice idea! +1 |

Fast Spherical Harmonics radiative transfer @Heike Wow, 3.5 vs. 148.5 seconds. Thank you for the tip. |

Fast Spherical Harmonics radiative transfer @J.M. LinearAlgebraMatrixConditionNumber[Table[B[i, m]...` gives 2.63531*10^98 . My comment on the N[#,30] was to remind me that even with N the LinearSolve::luc error occured and that I had to use SetPrecision[#,Infintiy] to get rid of it. |

Numerical Differentiation using 1500 data points @J.M. agreed, but without further knowldge of the posters data it is hard to be more specific. Of course some initial smoothing and hand-massaging of the data might be necessary. |

Numerical Differentiation using 1500 data points @ShrabantiDhar That is just an set of example data. Just use your data points (paris of x,y values instead). |
