comment Plotting the tangent of a curve
Welcome! You should post complete code. At the moment, some parts seem to be missing... this seems like a possible duplicate of mathematica.stackexchange.com/q/18090/131

I´m leaving this in case it might be useful, but with hindsight it is just a variation of mathematica.stackexchange.com/a/22853/131

comment Custom Head for Encapsulation
So are you after the pattern for matching? Or a OO-implementation? Going with standard Mathematica paradigms might be less hassle (there are several threads on OO around though).

You should self-answer in that case, and preferably shorten down your example to make it more accessible.

comment Plot some ordered pairs on the Cartesian plane?
Quite probably, but you need to be much more specific. Please edit the question and add info, optimally show what you tried already. Sounds like something that could be done using basic Graphics primitives.

Could you narrow down the most time-consuming parts? The whole hog is somewhat unattractive to reverse-engineer.

Can you describe the crash cause? Might be more useful in the long run.

Please add all that to the question and take a look at the linked thread in comments.

comment Calculations using imported .csv files
You Import your data, which hopefully will return some nested lists (or matrices), which you can manipulate at will. See Import, Part, Span and many other essential functions. Have you already searched the site?
