Sorry @m_goldberg, what I meant is that that 1/31 does not appear in the Parseval's identity I mentioned, but I had to put it to make the identity work. And unfortunately it is not as simple as the iteration step, as I used wavelets with bigger support and I was not able to find such correction factor.

comment Find where an error occurred in a bunch of command line scripts
@Silvia, thanks. I found the issue with few Print statements here and there as you suggested. But I add that this suggestion seems even better and I will give it a go.

I've seen that @Mr.Wizard, so the parser keeps line numbers. However, once running, they are not available. I see that this could help if one runs Trace on top and use the above, but that is beyond my skills/time at the moment :)

That's what I've been doing. But when you start having more participating scripts and/or logic gets more elaborated, it becomes harder... Sad that Mathematica does not have "exceptions" but the messaging approach.

As suggested by @Mr.Wizard, removing HoldFirst and then just using Column[DynamicInputField[Questions[[1, 3]], ContentType -> String], BaselinePosition -> Top] works for me.

comment LiftingWaveletTransform with irregular grids
Thanks @eldo, but b is just a {8,8} array and, therefore, representing a signal/function in a regular grid of $(i/8,j/8)$ points, that is not irregular.
