comment What does Segmentation fault (core dumped) actually mean?
I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because this is a general unix question. It has little (nothing?) to do with Mathematica / Wolfram Language.

comment Numerical integration giving trouble
@GuilhermeThompson, perhaps you can simplify this post to just asking about the performance of this NIntegrate and if there are ways to speed that one up: NIntegrate[ I1[Alpha]1[[Theta], 0] [Alpha]1Aux[0, 0, [Theta]], {[Theta], 0, [Pi]}, Method -> {Automatic, "SymbolicProcessing" -> 0}]

comment Plot experimental data from .dat file
Can you provide a small sample (maybe 7-8 rows) of the data, so people can help you with this specific question? Without specific data (and some code that you've already tried, but were unsuccessful with) it's really hard to answer this question (except in the most general sense, which is probably not useful to you). Help us help you!

comment How can I prevent SHIFT-ENTER moving the editing cursor?
I don't think there is a way to do that. But instead of right arrowing, why not just up arrow until you're under the input cell, and then do one left arrow. This takes you to the end of the cell immediately Often that's only three keystrokes.

comment How can I adjust the global input variable of a function to the value of a local variable within the function
So you have, for example, (using x instead of l for readability) f[x_] := x+1. And say t={2,2,2}. Then why not use t = f[t] ?

I added some info in the answer. Also this post is useful; if you read it you will likely avoid many common programming conundrums: mathematica.stackexchange.com/questions/18393/…
