I'm testing the MLF package in Mathematica for datamining purpose.

I start the databaseconnectivity with the following code:

Needs["DatabaseLink`"]
DatabaseExplorer[]`

Using the DatabaseExplorer I write the next syntax:

data = SQLExecute[
   SQLSelect[
    "mens", {"PRAXIS_ZUIDOOST_DEF_V1_BASK"}, {SQLColumn[
      "PRAXIS_ZUIDOOST_DEF_V1_BASK.RIJNUMMER"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.VOLGNUMMEER"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.RIJ_VOLGNUMMEER"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.NUMMER"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.DATUM"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.TRANS_NR"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.ARTIKEL"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.PRODUCTOMSCHRIJVING"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.FAMILY"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.OMZET"],
     SQLColumn["DEF_V1_BASK.AANTAL"]}, None,
    SortingColumns -> None, Distinct -> False, MaxRows -> 100000,
    Timeout -> None, ShowColumnHeadings -> True,
    GetAsStrings -> False]];

The result looks like this:

{{"name", "MAAND", "POSTCODE_SPAARDER", "EERSTE_TRANSACTIEDATUM_JAREN", "STARTDATUM_JAREN", "LEEFTIJD", "GESLACHT", "GHOST_IND", "INACTIEFCODE", "SALDO", "GEZINSAANTAL", "AANTAL", "AFDELINGNUMMER", "AFDELINGOMSCHRIJVING", "SUM_OMZET", "SUM_AANTAL", "GEOTYPE", "GEOTYPE3_KLAS", "LEVENSFAS2", "LEVENSFAS2_KLAS", "K_WON_EIG2", "K_WON_EIG2_KLAS", "PRI_WONIN2","PRI_WONIN2_KLAS", "TUINEN", "TUINEN_KLAS"}, <<27411>>, {"137088000", "DEC", "1363XW", 4., 15., 50., "V", "no ghost", "active", 34100., 1., 1., <<3>>, 1., Null, Null, Null, Null, Null, Null, Null, Null, Null,Null}}

I would like to analyse this table with MLF. Therefore I start the package with the next syntax:

Needs["mlf`"]

As far as I know, the only way to import this data is

data3 = LoadData[data, "Table"];

In the tutorial they write: "LoadData returns a reference to a data structure called DataSet, which is required for all the algorithms of mlf." LoadData only works with a external table. Anyone a suggestion how to cooperate DatabaseLink with MLF?

I'd suggest you contact the writers of mlf directly (mlf@unisoftwareplus.com) as its a (relatively) obscure addon to Mathematica not part of the core system. –  Ymareth Jan 8 at 21:58
