When I type : mathematica or math on terminal, generates following error:

 not found. Your Mathematica installation may be incomplete or corrupted.

 /usr/local/bin/SystemFiles/FrontEnd/Binaries/Linux/Mathematica not found.

Tried following:

  1. Re-installing

  2. installing lib32stdc++6

  3. uname -a : returns : X86_64 machine

After installation, Can you find an executable Mathematica file? Where? –  belisarius Dec 3 '13 at 16:54

Which program generates that error message? The installer? Note that your sentence doesn't contain a subject, so this is not particularly clear. –  Sjoerd C. de Vries Dec 3 '13 at 18:04
