Mathematica Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of Mathematica. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have seen in different people's setup various "personalizations" of the front end. To better explain: bigger/different cell "divisors", a line reporting various info (such as last computation's time and memory occupied) at the very bottom of the window and so on.

I am curious: is there a way, not by all mean comprehensive, to get a list of tweaks for the frontend? Or better, care to share yours? :)

There are either too many possible answers, or good answers would be too long for this format. Please add details to narrow the answer set or to isolate an issue that can be answered in a few paragraphs. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

Stylesheets to control many aspects of the front ends appearance. –  bill s Oct 31 '13 at 14:48
Agreed. But I was thinking more about adding functionality/information than appearance.... but yay, thanks! :) –  mgm Oct 31 '13 at 15:10
Typing in non-italicized Greek seems like the kind of tweak some people would like. –  Timothy Wofford Nov 2 '13 at 6:31

The idea of this question is to be open-ended and serve as a list, more than as a question with a single answer. –  mgm Mar 18 at 19:10
