Is there any way to change the masters and create a new slide show template?

I want to be able to change things like the title page background, the title bar formatting of the sections and select what information appears in the footer. For example, I might want a centered or a left-justified page number or I might want the page number to be of a format like "15 of 24". Also, I might want additional info to be in the footers like a "Proprietary" marking.

Is it possible to do this?

As @MikeHoneychurch comments, the answer to your question is "yes". I also think the answer to all your subquestions is "yes" . But these are not the answers you want, are they? I think your real question is "Where can I find a detailed tutorial on building a custom style sheet for a slide show?". If I'm right, then I suggest you edit your question to ask your real question. Otherwise, ignore this. –  m_goldberg Oct 31 '13 at 0:47

Just to expand: what you are needing to do is create your own stylesheet. I think to address all the features you are wanting goes beyond the scope of this Q&A. My advice is to read up on stylesheeting and then post again if you run into problems and describe the specifics of the problem(s) you encounter along with the code you have tried. –  Mike Honeychurch Oct 31 '13 at 0:54

I am satisfied with "yes" answers. That saves me the trouble of going on a goose chase. Now that I know it is possible I will look into stylesheets. –  Tyler Durden Oct 31 '13 at 15:20
