Trying to use solve on 8 simultaneous equations

Below is my code

eqn1r := I2r*V2r + I2i*V2i - Inr*Vnr - Ini*Vni == 0

eqn1i := I2r*V2i - I2i*V2r - Inr*Vni + Ini*Vnr == 0

eqn2r := Vnr - V2r - (1/2)*k*(I2r*Rc + Inr*Rc - I2i*Xc - Ini*Xc) == 0

eqn2i := Vni - V2i - (1/2)*k*(I2i*Rc + Ini*Rc + I2r*Xc + Inr*Xc) == 0

eqn3r := I2r*Vnr - I2i*Vni - 2*Inr*Vnr + 2*Ini*Vni + Inr*V2r + Ini*V2i == 0

eqn3i := I2i*Vnr + I2r*Vni - 2*Inr*Vni - 2*Ini*Vnr + Inr*V2i + Ini*V2r == 0

eqn4r := c*(2*I2r*Rc + 2*Inr*Rc - 2*I2i*Xc - 2*Ini*Xc + I2r*Rt + Inr*Rt - I2i*Xt -

Mathematica doesn't give me any result - not even an error. Help please. I know the results for all the unknowns to within a very tight range - does specifying this for 'Solve' help?

I've noticed you've called I2r twice in the final line of code, one of those should be I2i I'm guessing... –  ASBO Allstar Oct 10 at 12:49
1)ASBO Allstar is right, please check your code again.2) Your equation contains additional variables Xc, Rc, Xt and Rt (might have missed some) that are not accounted for. 3)Sometimes Reduce can solve equations Solve can not handle, but first you have to check points 1) and 2) –  Wizard Oct 10 at 14:15
