# Mathematica hanging with “Abort Dynamic Evaluation” prompt

Ever since updated to Mathematica 9, I frequently experience Mathematica, always followed by the following message prompt after dozens of seconds:

In many occasions there is no use choosing "Abort", and this annoying message continues to appear.

Has anyone ever met this problem?

May be you shall contact WRI with system configurations. This is very much system specific –  Blackbird Oct 6 at 18:04
In fact this is also reported by other users, for example in this Chinese forum (Baidu.com):tieba.baidu.com/p/2195234031 Translated version: translate.google.com.hk/… –  JimmyLin Oct 6 at 18:24
I get this message many times when I start Mathematica first time. I simply click on the continue waiting and then it comes OK. Never caused any issue other than this. V 9.01, on windows 7, 64 bit. (I think I need to buy a faster/bigger PC) –  Nasser Oct 6 at 20:58
Yes, I've gotten it. Perhaps not so often in V9, but then I haven't been as involved in the Demonstrations project for the last year or so. It's almost always my fault, perhaps always. It's not surprising that many people see it. Perhaps what you've been working on leads to these kinds messages. –  Michael E2 Oct 6 at 23:26
