When I try to export Greek characters from Mathematica to a pdf file, the pdf is filled with unknown characters. Please note that i have no idea about Mathematica, I have just installed it today.I am trying to export as plain text.
P.S. I have already seen this Copying Greek text from notebooks as unicode.
edit:My operating system is windows 7,i am using save as in order to export.Please try this one for example:1.Έχουμε u + v + w + z = 6 και u + w + z = 4 και u + w = 2.Χρησιμοποιώντας την μέθοδο της αντικατάστασης βρίσμουμε οτι v+4=6 v=2 και z+2=4 z=2 και u+w=2.Επομένως η τομή των τριών επιπέδων θα είναι η ευθεία u+w=2.Έαν γνωρίζαμε οτι u=-1,τοτε θα είχαμε w-1=2w=3.Επομένως η τομή θα ήταν το σημείο (u,v,w,z)=(-1,2,3,2)
Update1:Using SetOptions[$FrontEnd, CharacterEncoding -> "UTF8"]; Export["test.pdf", "Text"] it seems to fix it,but the output pdf have grey background like this output.Do you guys know a way to make it like this?(Second pdf have an issue with spaces between words, and was exported using save as)
Update2:Thanks everyone,i have found a solution to my problem.Changing character encoding works for me.
