# func::usage needs to be run twice?

There is an annoying problem that I can't figure out why it's happening. I have defined a usage for a my function tensorA:

Then when I run ?tensorA I get gibberish:

But if I run the same code a second time, it works as intended.

Is this problem known? Why do I need to run the ?tensorA twice for it to display properly? What can I do to fix this?

Could you copy your usage definition as input form and put it in the question? – ssch Jan 13 at 23:58
Perhaps you could evaluate your expressions with DisplayForm. – RiemannZeta Jan 14 at 0:05
Possibly related: Why do I have to evaluate this twice? -- it may be that some formatting routine is not loaded the first time. Strange nevertheless as I wouldn't expect that to affect the definition. Please do include the definition code but if you can make it the Box form (Show Cell Expression). – Mr.Wizard Jan 14 at 1:06
What version of Mathematica are you using? – rcollyer Jan 14 at 3:25
I'm using Mathematica 8 – QuantumDot Jan 14 at 6:23
