Mathematica Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of Mathematica. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Since there is no public facing bug tracker for mathematica 9, let's try keeping a list here. One potential bug per answer. Others can confirm (or otherwise) in comments to each answer.

Hmm, personally I don't think mma.se is the place for such lists. –  Ajasja Dec 13 '12 at 9:04
If SE is the right place for good programming practice then it is definitely also a good place for bug reports. –  Ernst Stelzer Dec 13 '12 at 11:50
@RolfMertig Yes, but then each bug should be it's own question. And you can get a list by looking at the bugs tag. Also from the FAQ You should only ask practical, answerable questions based on actual problems that you face –  Ajasja Dec 13 '12 at 12:20
Clearly, this will be closed. I, for one, think it's unfortunate that we wipe out useful stuff to preserve a pedantic view of what stackexchange should be. –  Mark McClure Dec 13 '12 at 15:20
@MarkMcClure While I think it's probably useful to have bugs and workarounds, that's probably better done in individual questions (otherwise it'll be difficult to navigate) –  acl Dec 13 '12 at 21:54

If you do SetOptions[ToString, PageWidth->137] then the predictive interface looks really really weird.

I couldn't see this problem in a few tries. What exactly did you input for the predictive interface? –  Szabolcs Dec 13 '12 at 21:33
And setting SetOptions[ToString, FormatType -> StandardForm] breaks cell label generation mechanism. And also introduces bugs in the Documentation center... –  Alexey Popkov Dec 14 '12 at 2:17
